The farm has a variety of ecosystems, including forest, marshlands, and grassland. It is situated on the shore, and it is from here that the Wicklow marshes, which extend down the coast to Wicklow town, can be seen. The area is used for both grazing and animal feed crops. Under the supervision of Kilcoole Animal Hospital and Avondale Vets, the farm employs best practices in animal welfare.
